ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Puts in place the project(s)’ roll-out strategy in collaboration with the Country Head and the Group ND (Network Deployment) Head

- Leads the planning and implementation of his/her assigned project(s). Plans and schedules the project(s)’ timelines.

- Defines and manages the project’s tasks and resources (human, vehicles, tools, equipments…), and assigns responsibilities.

- Supervises all works related to his/her assigned project(s), and ensures they are executed in accordance with the Client’s specifications.

- Identifies project bottlenecks, problems, set-backs… and implements solutions.

- Constantly monitors the project(s)’ progress, and reports it to the Country Head and the Group ND head using forms and procedures.

- Reports regularly the project’s progress to the Client (weekly meetings, status reports…).

- Manages the project’s budget and all its related payments.

- Builds and maintains a solid relationship with the Client and their representatives.

- Identifies potential projects for his Client, and shares them with the Country Head and the Group ND Head.

- Selects and assigns qualified sub-contractors, and manages them.

- Directs and manages his/her assigned team(s), and provides the needed support.

-Coaches and develops his/her assigned team.

-Explains and trains Projects Manager, Project Supervisors and Projects Coordinator reporting formats, and ensures the implementation and flow of these reports.

- Undertakes periodic unscheduled visits to his/her assigned sites to verify the site progress and provide necessary inputs when needed.

OH&S/ QMS ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitors and ensures that all QMS/OH&S procedures and policies are being adhered to by the Projects Manager and Projects Supervisors.

- Deals directly with client representative on all OH&S matters when required.

- Monitors all QMS/OH&S audit reports of projects.

- Coordinates efforts with all sections of the company (Procurement & Logistics, HR & Administration and Accounts) as per internal procedures.

- Ensures that all projects activities adhere to all OH&S and QMS standards

- Follow up the Investigations of accidents, incidents, and hazards and follow up the implementation of the necessary corrective and preventive actions to mitigate incidents, accidents and hazards.

- Ensures that proper trainings are provided to enhance the OHSAS knowledge and competence.

- Conducts regular site inspections when needed.

- Ensure that hazard controls (PPE, engineering controls, policies, and procedures) are monitored.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- 6-9 years’ experience in similar field

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- BSc. in Civil/Electrical/Telecom Engineering

- Handles smooth operation of the O&M Fuel management project, coordination with client and OHS & Quality representatives.

- Ensures in time Reconciliations of Fuel with Client, Electricity with Client and Electricity Companies, Fuel Supplying Companies, Fuel Transporters, Security companies.

- Transfers all the Fuel losses to respective Concerns

- Ensures 100% Usage of M-ITSM

- Demonstrates the ability to think critically and proactively, anticipates risks and prepares solutions in advance.

- Inspects the quality of the equipment and undertakes site inspection to determine if they are complying with government regulations, client requirements & industry standards.

- Analyses resources requirement, acquires, monitors and makes suggestions or improvements accordingly. Resources include but not limited to Human, tools, equipment & transportation.

- Analyzes and proposes different scenarios or options in fuel management chain (Procurement, delivery, monitoring, consumption, invoicing, etc), to decrease OPEX, saving in CAPEX to make fuel management success both financially and technically.

- Liaises within organization and client to achieve the objectives & efficient fuel management.

- Has overview of financial resources and funds requirement; Raises funds requirement well before time and finds ways to arrange finances with help from his/her supervisor in case required.

- Prepares monthly and annual O&M budgets for his/her operation, monitors costs, resources and ensures expenses are within allocated budget within whole fuel management process chain.

-Responsible for finding new fuel suppliers or transportation companies or any other resources, contract negotiation and contract monitoring for efficient and cost-effective fuel management, keeping in view company’s interests.

- Evaluates field staff and quality of works through personal inspections & other means, proposes trainings enabling and maintaining appropriate qualifications, certifications, and licenses.

- Implements efficient fuel management system e.g. forecasting, ordering, delivery, consumption, monitoring and controlling.

- Coordinates with the O&M Supervisor and other concerned staff for analysis, reporting and improvement plans.

- Analyzes data and makes short- and long-term supply plans and budget forecast, ways to monitor fuel levels and timely delivery to ensure that fuel is available all time in field in case of emergency situation in the region or area.

- Thinks proactively for minimizing fuel leakages and thefts at all fuel supply chain levels; creates relevant reports and analysis as per requirement of client and company’s internal targets and acts on these reports according to processes.

- Creates reports based on forecast, delivery, & consumption as per guideline, identifies the problem areas and suggests improvement.

- Ensures that relevant documentation and reports required for fuel management and invoicing are ready and reconciled internally and with client in timely manner.

- Coordinates with the client’s representatives and other sections and proposes changes in procedures, as required, to accomplish tasks in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

- Liaises with the Accounts section for verifying & invoicing of the approved fuel usage.

- Reviews all equipment and personal injury accidents that take place at the fuel facilities and develops corrective action, incorporating company policies.

IMS ROLE AND RESPOMSIBILITIES

- Reports any hazards or risks in addition to Accidents/Incident to QHSE department.

- Be aware of and complies to i engineering’s IMS Policy.

- Abides Local Legal and Client Requirements.

- Attends and engages in IMS Awareness Sessions

- Ensures that all IMS procedures are regularly followed and raises the issue when they are not.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

- 7-10 years in field work or relevant experience

- Multi-tasker, well organized, and can work well under pressure.

- Must be comfortable with handling multiple projects and assignments with strict deadlines.

- A Team leader that can negotiate.

- Decision maker that can work independently.

- Expertise in working on MS office, particularly MS excel.
